Mrs. Shakuntala Choudhury of Bridgewater, New Jersey was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) by the Gauhati University for her thesis, entitled, “A Study in World and Indian Demographics – Using Statistical Computing Methodology”.  Dr. Choudhury is the eldest daughter of Dr. Jyotiprasad and Mrs. Prity Medhi of Silpukhuri, Guwahati and the wife of Mr. Niren Ch. Choudhury of Bridgewater, NJ.
