Our Association, since its birth in 1980 in Houston, Texas, has tried its best to provide a forum for our members and to the community in general a platform to meet and share our ethos. At least once a year we gather in our Assam Convention, we meet friends, share ideas and stories, and see our children enjoy meeting others. Our Convention is an epitome of a community on the move! Towards that great encore, we march arms in arms!

It is apparent that the children of our 2nd Generation are also increasingly enjoying the Convention. The success of the Convention speaks of the sacrifice and dedication of the older generation, and now it has become the obligation of the 2nd Generation to come forward and keep this organizations marching ahead. It is trite to say that “we are too busy!”
The success in affording such a stage to our children are apparent, our children have no stage fright. It is a delight to see a 5 year old perform on the stage! Our various chapters keep our community engaged as evident from the Chapter reports that follow.
