4K gives financial support to local, cancer centric non-profits. Kristol along with fellow riders stopped at community centers and hospices along the way to hear cancer victims’ stories and offer encouragement in their battle with the disease.
Each day after a 80- 100 miles ride she gets off of her bike to conduct health & wellness screenings to encourage people to be more proactive about their health. Kristol’s journey was posted on her blog http://4kristol.tumblr.com
Kristol is a graduate of Johns Hopkins and starts medical school at Case Western in July 2011.
