Dr. Bhupen Hazarika at our place - Lohit Datta-Barua
In 1979 Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was in Houston and had spent time at our place. Here area a few pictures and his handwritten note to us. Dr Hazarika was awarded the Life Time Achievement Ward in an Assam Convention. Please note that he was also a life time honorary member of AANA. The other two honorary life members are Dr. Birendranath Dutta and Mamoni Roisom Goswami.
